The film documents the first systematic archaeological survey around Kasos Island, led by maritime archaeologist Xanthi Argyris. The team has conducted 220 dives, scanning 60 km of shoreline, discovering ten shipwrecks, and recovering 108 archaeological artifacts. Their work enhances the understanding of the Aegean Sea's underwater archaeology.

We combined their inspiring 140 year-old history in the country with their vast archival, scientific and human resources, to paint the modern profile of one of the most cutting edge and... well, classic institutions with a global impact, studying the Greek world from half a million years ago to today.

The film highlights Corinth’s continuous importance throughout history and portrays the changing face of the archaeological site in 125 years of excavation.
